Neurosurgery Residency Scramble

On March 15th, 2011, medical students from across the nation, international medical graduates and foreign medical graduates will participate in the residency scramble.

If you are a member of this group, rest assured that you are not alone. After the shock, you must regain your composure and realize that the task at hand is to get a job for the next year. Many medical students have survived the scramble and gone off to be successful in subsequent residencies. You can too.

Anesthesiology is a competitive field, and is become even more competitive because of the lifestyle benefits combined with a great income potential. Students who do not match in Anesthesiology can scramble into a prelim in Internal Medicine or General Surgery.
