MCAT score and USMLE correlation

MCAT score and USMLE correlation

The MCAT score has a strong correlation with USMLE Step 1. Students who tend to get a high MCAT score will generally also get a high USMLE Step 1 score and vice versa.

The factors that lead to a higher USMLE Step 1 score include:

1) Higher number of MCQs completed
2) Grades in preclinical courses
