Death and Dying: A doctor’s perspective
Gallery of men and women before and after death
This is a link to an exhibit featuring pictures of individuals both
before and after death. As the website says:
This sombre series of portraits taken of people before and after they
had died is a challenging and poignant study. The work by German
photographer Walter Schels and his partner Beate Lakotta, who recorded
interviews with the subjects in their final days, reveals much about
dying – and living.
It is quite powerful, and we encourage you to take time and look at it
during the next few weeks of curriculum regarding seriously ill and
dying patients.
