The most important thing to read while in residency for ophthalmology is the 14 volume set of books that constitutes the Basic and Clinical Science Course published by the American Academy of Ophthalmology every year. These books will provide you with the foundation of knowledge that you need. Depending on your interest, there are other books to consider buying in areas like Cornea, Uveitis, Oncology, Retina, Pediatrics and Strabismus…But, the books below should be high yield for you.
